ROLLAND EBORU

 

FAMILY BUSINESS COACH

Rolland is also the Managing Executive at his second generation family-owned business. Prior to this role in his family business, Rolland was Head of Products at ICICI International Banking Group – India’s largest private sector bank. He was also a product specialist at STANLIB Asset Management.

 

Although a seasoned professional with over 12 years’ experience in the financial service industry, Rolland’s career spans over a number of industries which include retailing, manufacturing, banking, wealth and asset management. In addition, he has exposure in the Indian banking sector and business development strategies in Africa. Through these industries he has gain skills in the following disciplines; market research, strategic planning, project management, regulatory compliance, governance, marketing, wealth management and product development.

 

Rolland is an active researcher on various issues relating to family businesses, strategy, product models, leadership and retirement reform. His passion for research has awarded him the opportunity to be an international speaker and author on these subjects, particularly on retirement reform and family businesses. Furthermore, he is a realistic, ambitious individual; focused on possibilities, a logical problem solver and dedicator to productive accomplishments. He is reputed for his astute ability to manage stakeholders in multicultural geographies.

 

Rolland holds a BCom (Hon), MBA and Master in Strategic Marketing from the Wits Business School (WBS). He is also a qualified coach and dedicates his time to coaching MBA candidates at the WBS. He has previously served on various industry committees of the Association for Savings & Investment South Africa (ASISA). He is currently a board director at the South African Footwear and Leather Export Council (SAFLEC).
